Our tour departs from Brisbane or Sydney for your flight to Singapore. On arrival into Singapore, we will be welcomed by our local guide who will transfer us to our accommodation. This will be our base for the duration of our time in Singapore, so no need to repack again until we depart for home. After freshening up, meet back together for dinner.D
After breakfast, we begin our day with an introduction to Singapore's colourful heritage during a guided tour. See milestones in Singapore's history through memorials and monuments around the Padang, Old Supreme Court, Old Parliament House and City Hall. Visit Kampong Glam, explore some of the oldest streets in Singapore and visit the Chinatown Heritage Centre which provides a vivid recreation of life and living conditions during the early 1900s'. After lunch at a local restaurant, we'll make a short stop at Raffles Landing site to discover where Singapore began its reputation as 'Emporium of the East'. Enjoy a cruise down the Singapore River on a Bum Boat from Boat Quay to Merlion Park, offering a great photo opportunity. Next, visit the downtown area of Marina Bay before returning to the hotel. This evening, take time to purchase your own dinner and wander down the famous Orchard Road, returning to the hotel at your leisure.B, L
Today is sure to highlight the spectacular array of gardens on offer in this tropical climate. This morning we'll visit the National Orchid Garden at the Singapore Botanical Gardens. With over 1000 species and 2000 hybrids on display, the display is certainly a sight to behold. Next we visit Gardens by the Bay located at the edge of Marina Reservoir. Spanning 101 hectares, this award-winning horticultural attraction houses over 250 thousand rare plants and two cooled, unique conservatories - the Flower Dome and Cloud Forest. Be amazed by the Supertrees - vertical gardens that combine multitude functions and work as environmental engines for the gardens! Enjoy dinner at No Signboard Seafood Restaurant on the Esplanade before returning to the hotel for a well earned rest.B, D
Today we travel to Singapore's favourite playground - Sentosa Island. Cross the busy Straits of Singapore by Cable Car and be captivated by the stunning 360 degree view. Next, we are thrilled by unique encounters with marine animals at SEA Aquarium. This venue has just had major works completed making it home to more than 100 000 marine animals of over 1000 species across 50 different habits. Take time to purchase your own lunch before returning to Singapore city. This afternoon, take a ride on the Singapore Flyer - Asia's largest observation wheel, standing at a height of 165m. Return to our hotel to freshen up before dinner at the hotel.B, D
Singapore Zoo is the only place in the world where we can have breakfast with Orang Utans - and that is exactly what we will be doing this morning! This award-winning breakfast program allows us to take photos with the charming apes and other animals as we enjoy a buffet spread. Take time to explore the rest of the zoo and some of its wonderful shows on offer, such as the Splash Safari, Animal Friends and the Rainforest Fights Back show. After a full day we are transferred back to our hotel for dinner.B, D
This morning will evoke many emotions as our guide takes us to some of the museums and memorials dedicated to the memory of all who fought and suffered during WWII. Visit Kranji War Cemetary, and pass by the Old Changi Prison facade, another WWII internment camp. After a somber morning our day will 'lift' when we venture to the 50th Storey Skybridge at The Pinnacle@Duxton to see the panoramic views. A real treat awaits this afternoon as we arrive at the Fullerton Hotel for our High Tea held in The Courtyard Restaurant which is located in the sunlit atrium lobby including a live harpist for our enjoyment whilst we indulge in a sophisticated meal of savoury and sweet items, with a glass of wine included. This evening is at leisure and will offer another opportunity to take in the splendor of the Christmas lights.B
Today we visit Asia's largest bird park - Jurong Bird Park. Hop on-board the guided trams or take a leisurely stroll around the park and explore the lush jungles. Purchase your own morning tea and lunch today. The afternoon has been left free to do any last minute shopping. Our farewell dinner this evening is at Indochine Restaurant set atop the Supertrees at Gardens by the Bay, offering amazing views of the Singapore skyline.
