Travel by Tilt Train today through the scenic Sunshine Coast and Wide Bay areas, before arriving in Miriam Vale. A trolley service is available to your seat or you may buy snacks, lunch and drinks from the Galley. Travel to 1770 and settle into your accommodation for the next three nights.
3 Nights 1770 Sandcastles Resort
Today we board the brightly painted Larc V ‘Sir Joseph Banks’ for a full day of fun and adventure exploring the unspoilt coastline to Bustard Head Lighthouse. Journey over vast sandy beaches and crystal clear waters, enjoying morning tea, picnic lunch and billy tea beneath a canopy of shady trees.
Agnes Water – 1770
This morning we travel back to 1770 to spend some time discovering some of the unique aspects of this area. There will also be opportunity to do some short walks to view the area, so make sure you wear your comfortable walking shoes. The Agnes Water Museum celebrates the landing with copies of Captain James Cook’s journals, logs, charts and memorabilia from the Discovery Coast region. Visit the 1770 Distillery, a small boutique distillery that utilise the locally grown fruits of the area. Return to Agnes Water for some free time to purchase your own lunch either at the resort or one of the cafes in township. The remainder of the day is yours to choose. Relax at the resort and enjoy the resort facilities, take a long walk along the beach or take the short walk known as The Paperbark Trail.

After breakfast, it’s time farewell our hosts and travel on the coach via Apple Tree Creek to Gympie. After lunch continue back into Brisbane where your transfers will be arranged.
