Day 1

Brisbane – Gympie – Maryborough
This morning we make our way to the Gympie Gold Mining and Historical Museum, which plays a large role in preserving memorabilia from the early gold mining era and has displays of military, rural, transport, communications and steam development. Following lunch, continue north to Maryborough, where we will spend the next two nights.

Childers Festival
Today we visit the Childers Festival, a major cultural event on the Queensland Events calendar. Take time to purchase your own morning tea and lunch while browsing the various food and market stalls offering delicious cuisine from all around the world and enjoy the diverse range of music and entertainment.

Day 3

Maryborough – Tewantin – Brisbane
Before departing Maryborough today, enjoy a guided tour highlighting the preserved colonial streets and soak up the history and heritage of what was once one of Australia’s largest and busiest ports. Travel to Tewantin for lunch, before returning back to Brisbane where your transfers will be arranged.
